From Beth Warren, 2016 volunteer SF pool chair...
Dear Neighbors,
In case you haven't had a chance to familiarize yourself with the rules for SF pool use, please note, some rules have changed since 2015 and need a second look. These rules are in place to help protect our association from liability, and preserve our beautiful amenities.
HOURS:
These are our pool hours when lifeguards are present, and the safest time to swim:
Through May 22nd – Saturdays and Sundays ONLY 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
May 25th – 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Beginning May 26th – open daily, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
LIABILITY WAIVER:
But... To use the pool outside of normal operating hours, which means in the rare case when residents want to use the pool with no lifeguard present, a resident must fill out a form that's available on our website, www.sibleyforest.net, under "clubhouse and pool." Completed forms can be placed in my mailbox – 735 Sharp Mountain Creek.
Even with a signed release, anyone under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult when using the pool without a lifeguard present.
GUESTS:
ALSO, please note that guests cannot use our pool outside of normal operating hours. Please bring guests to the pool only when a lifeguard is on duty. I really don’t want to be the pool police. Thank you for your cooperation.
Reminder: Sibley Seahorses will have weekday afternoon practices until May 24 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. M-TH. At that time the pool area is open only to swim team members.
